The itinerary is thoughtfully designed to immerse travelers in Nepal’s rich heritage and thrilling outdoor activities, making it a unique journey you won’t find elsewhere.

Starting in Kathmandu, the city of temples, you will explore ancient palaces, sacred shrines, and bustling markets that reflect the country’s vibrant cultural tapestry. Highlights include Basantapur Durbar Square, Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), Boudhanath Stupa, and the revered Pashupatinath Temple. From here, the adventure begins with an exhilarating rafting expedition on the Trishuli River, known for its thrilling rapids and scenic surroundings.

The journey continues to Chitwan National Park, where wildlife encounters and jungle safaris await, offering a glimpse of rare species such as the one-horned rhinoceros and Royal Bengal tiger. Cultural experiences with the indigenous Tharu community add depth to the visit. Finally, the tour culminates in Pokhara, Nepal’s “City of Lakes,” famous for its stunning Himalayan vistas and adrenaline-pumping paragliding experiences. Here, guests can enjoy serene lakes, vibrant local markets, and hiking trails, making this trip a perfect balance of adventure and relaxation.

Best Time for Rafting and Paragliding 11 Days

The ideal time to explore on the Rafting and Paragliding 11 Days Tour in Nepal is during the spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) seasons. During these months, the weather is generally stable, with clear skies and moderate temperatures, making it perfect for outdoor activities like rafting and paragliding. The rivers have sufficient water flow for exciting rafting without the extreme risks associated with the monsoon season.

Spring offers blossoming flowers and vibrant greenery, while autumn provides crisp air and breathtaking views of the snow-capped Himalayan peaks. Summer months (June to August) bring heavy monsoon rains, which can cause river flooding and unstable weather, making rafting dangerous and paragliding less enjoyable. Winter months (December to February) can be cold, especially in the mornings and evenings, but still suitable for travelers who prefer fewer crowds and don’t mind chilly weather.

Rafting and Paragliding 11 Days Transportation

Transportation throughout the Rafting and Paragliding 11 Days Tour is comfortably managed by Rediscover Nepal Treks & Tours using private vehicles, tourist buses, and local transport to ensure smooth travel between destinations. From the moment you arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel with ease.

The journey to Chitwan is conducted via tourist bus, providing a comfortable and affordable way to traverse the approximately six-hour route through Nepal’s lush hills and farmland. For shorter distances, such as the drive from Pokhara to Phedi or Sarangkot, private vehicles are used to offer flexibility and timely transfers.

Major Activities for Rafting and Paragliding 11 Days
