After leaving Base Camp behind the trail becomes more adventures as we head most of the time downwards, the views change in this new perspective. Some Annapurna base camp trek tips!
This trek is also called the Annapurna Base Camp Trek 10 days, as there are only 10 days of actual trekking. Trekking to the Annapurna Base Camp can be challenging for novice trekkers as some parts of trek are steep and long climbs. But due to the lower altitude a direct chance of Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS) is not likely to happen. The trails go mostly through forests, green valleys and ridges from where amazing views can be seen, but after the rainy season it’s common to encounter leeches. Always where long socks and cover your legs to avoid these critters, bringing salt might also do wonders to keep them away! During an emergency our professional Guides are there to assist you in any way!
