Really grateful to met Milan at the beginning of my time in Nepal. He organized for me few days in Annapurna with Suvas, guide. Was an amazing trek and I recommend it with joy !
We trekked through the Annapurna Ranges going to Poon Hill. Our guide Milan was encouraging when the steps became abit tough. He gave us plenty of breaks to recover ready for the next lot of steps..Milan looked after us all the way. I would recommend touring with Milan.
My fiancé and I completed the Annapurna Trek a few years ago with Milan and Ramesh. Milan was a fantastic guide and made our trip one of the best, most memorable holidays we’ve ever had. He’s extremely knowledgeable, kind and caring, always going out of his way to make the experience one to remember. I would definitely recommend Milan and his Trekking company and will be booking with him next time we return. He’s not just our trek guide, he’s also become a life long friend.
The Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) Trek is a popular trekking route in Nepal that takes you through diverse landscapes and traditional villages, culminating at the base camp of Annapurna I, the 10th highest peak in the world. The trek offers breathtaking views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges.
The best times to trek are during the pre-monsoon (spring) season from March to May and the post-monsoon (autumn) season from September to November. These periods offer the most stable weather and clear views.
The trek is considered moderate to challenging. It involves several days of walking at high altitudes with steep ascents and descents. Previous trekking experience and a good level of fitness are recommended.
While it’s possible to trek independently, hiring a guide and porter is highly recommended. They provide valuable assistance, ensure your safety, and enhance the overall experience by sharing local knowledge and handling your gear.
You will need two permits: the Annapurna Conservation Area Permit (ACAP) and the TIMS (Trekkers' Information Management System) card. These can usually be obtained through your trekking agency.
Solo trekking is allowed, but it is safer and more enjoyable to join a guided group trek due to the remote and challenging nature of the trail.
