Overview

Nepal is considered as the perfect country for freshwater river rafting over the world. Many adventure seekers come here to experience the thrill offered by rapid waves of Trishuli river flowing between the deep gorges of Himalayan rivers.

Among many other rafting locations, Trishuli is the most famous for two main reasons: firstly, it is near the three main tourist destinations -Pokhara, Chitwan, and Kathmandu. Secondly, it offers excitement to ideally every type of rafters, both novice and experienced ones. People find delightful to raft in Trishuli because of some challenging thrill rapids, for example, Up Set, Ladies delight, and surprises. In addition to the exhilarating experience of rafting, you will observe the natural beauty of gorges, surrounding hills, cultural heritage of people living in those regions. Nothing can be more relishing than playing with the waves of water in spectacular scenery in the peaceful countryside of Nepal.

The name of the river “Trishuli” came from the weapon used by lord Shiva - “Trishul” (or trident). The origination of this river is the holy place Gosainkunda which is also a popular religious and trekking destination of Nepal.

Trip Itinerary

A three hours drive will take us to the bank of Trishuli River at Charaudi where our rafting adventure begins. As we arrive at the destination, we head towards the bank where we find our guide and other teammates. We will be provided with necessary gears for example helmets and life jackets. Our instructor will tell us the dos and don'ts while rafting and teaches us how to paddle. After a short briefing and demonstrations, we commence rafting and enjoy the spectacular landscapes while playing with the waves and water of the Trishuli river. After completion, we bid farewell to the guide and return to Kathmandu. Thus completing our one-day rafting tour in Trishuli.
