Riding back on the back of docile elephant or Jeep safari is a popular activity to do in Chitwan. Chitwan National park is home to above 525 bird species, 55 amphibians, and reptiles and 50 mammal species. The large number of lodges, hotels, and guesthouses in sauraha is the evidence of the fact that how popular this place is to the tourist. Trip Itinerary

It will take us about 4 hours to reach chitwan. On arrival you will refresh yourself, take some rest and we start our planned activity for this day. We visit nearby tharu ethnic village and observe their way of living, enjoy the tranquility and sunset on the bank of Rapti river, cultural shows of ethnic tharu community, see elephant stable, and enjoy our dinner and rest in hotel

Today, after having breakfast we Canoe on the Rapti river for about 30 mins. We will closely observe waterbirds, Mugger, and Gharial Crocodiles and if we are lucky we can even spot freshwater dolphins. We walk in the jungle exploring the wilderness closely. Then we head for elephant ride of Jeep safari to explore the dense forest. Riding on the back of elephant watching rare species of exotic animals like the one-horned Rhino and Royal Bengal Tiger, Deers, Wild Cats, Bears and many more. However, we cannot guarantee that you will spot all of them, it depends mostly on the luck. We will enjoy elephant bath in the Rapti river.

[Note: It is advised that you take special attention and be careful about the rules and regulations of National Park. Your safety is our prime concern.]

4 hours drive from Chitwan will land us to the city of Kathmandu. You will compare the serenity, tranquility of the Jungle with hustle and bustle of the busy Kathmandu city. We will drop you at your hotel and bid farewell. However, you can contact us for more amazing trips and treks in various parts of Nepal if you want to visit somewhere else in the future
